Florentyna on fire in second round!

After firing a first round of seven-under-par 63 at Golf de Chantaco yesterday, Florentyna Parker picked up where she left off with five birdies on the front nine on Friday morning to carry a five stroke lead through the turn on 12-under-par.

However, the 27-year-old Englishwoman came unstuck at the treacherous 11th hole, taking a double bogey on the uphill par-4 with a severely sloping green from the back to the front, slipping back to 10-under-par with a three stroke advantage over Diana Luna and Beth Allen.

The defending champion Céline Herbin was four-under for the day through 10 holes and climbing the leader board swiftly, only four behind Parker.

Scoring conditions are perfect at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France and there will be a cut to the leading 50 players and those tied after today’s second round.
