Marta Sanz Barrio of Spain set the clubhouse target at Golf de Chantaco early in the Lacoste Ladies Open de France on Thursday with a three-under-par 67 in warm and sunny conditions.
The second year LET player is taking her first look at the course and liked what she saw. After a bogey on the third, she fired four birdies at the fifth, sixth, ninth and 11th holes and found that it suited her game perfectly.
She was three strokes behind leader Florentyna Parker after 15 holes.
