When the claxon sounded, Denmark’s Nanna Koerstz Madsen was about to step over a two foot birdie putt on the par-5 14th green that would give her a three shot lead over Sweden’s Linda Wessberg. Fellow Dane Malene Jorgensen is the leader in the clubhouse on a 54-hole total of eight-under after a five-under-par round of 66.
