The home team, aiming to win the Cup for just the third time and add Barseback to Dalmahoy and Loch Lomond as triumphant venues, did not lose a match in sweeping to a thrilling 3-1 series win and went into the afternoon four balls ahead 7 ½ – 4 ½.
