Nelly Korda keeps control

United States Solheim Cup star Nelly Korda remained six strokes clear of the field heading into the back nine in the third round of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France.

It’s been a week of blazing sunshine at Golf du Medoc, but just after Korda teed off on the 10th, torrential rain fell.

She then bogeyed the 10th, narrowing her advantage to five strokes, ahead of fellow Solheim Cup player, Celine Boutier.

Nobuhle Dlamini eagled the par-4 11th to get into a tie for third with Joanna Klatten.

Play was suspended at 3.23pm local time due to the heavy rain and after a delay of one hour, 22 minutes, resumed at 4.45pm.
