England Women (#EnglandW) and Germany Women (#GermanyW) hit the course at Oitavos Dunes in Cascais, Portugal, today in the European Tour’s GolfSixes tournament.
Team England Women includes Florentyna Parker, whose impressive career has included three wins on the Ladies European Tour and an appearance in the Solheim Cup. She is joined by Meghan MacLaren, a two-time winner on the LET who finished second in the Jordan Mixed Open earlier this year.
Joining the English team are the Germans – 2018 South Africa Women’s Masters champion Laura Fuenfsteuck and 20-year-old Esther Henseleit, who is third on the LET Order of Merit after posting six top 10s from eight starts this year and is vying for the LET’s Rookie of the Year award.

The 16 teams of two players – each representing a different country – compete in quickfire six-hole rounds in an attempt to win their share of a €1million prize purse.
The teams have been put it into four groups of four with each team facing each other in the Group Stage today. The top two teams from each group will progress to a Knockout Stage which takes place on Saturday.
