LET order of merit leader Nuria Iturrios, a two-time winner on the LET this season, has captured another title: the Zimmer Biomet Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez on the Lake Course at Grand National on the RTJ Golf Trail, in Opelika, Ala.
Nuria, 23, from Mallorca, Spain, is on fire this year as demonstrated by her back-to-back LET titles between late April and early May in the Lalla Meryem Cup and the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic. Her latest win on the Symetra Tour is sure to catch the eye of the European Solheim Cup captain, Catriona Matthew and boost her chances of an appearance at Gleneagles in September.
