LET RETURNS TO MISSION HILLS CHINA FOR 2026 ARAMCO CHINA CHAMPIONSHIP

Mission Hills China

The Ladies European Tour (LET) ends its Asian swing this week with the Aramco China Championship staged on the World Cup Course at Mission Hills China.

This week sees the fifth and final event of the 2026 PIF Global Series, after the PIF Saudi Ladies International, Aramco Championship, PIF London Championship and Aramco Korea Championship took place earlier this year.

It is the third year in a row that the tournament has been held on the World Cup Course at Mission Hills China.

The tournament is co-sanctioned between the LET and the CLPGA with a field of 108 players competing for a $2 million USD prize fund.

The format is a 72-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties after 36 holes.

Home star Ruixin Liu is the defending champion having secured a three-stroke victory on the World Cup Course in 2025.

It was a special week for Liu who lives at Mission Hills China and 2025 was the first time she had played a professional event in Shenzhen since turning professional in 2017.

There are three LET Order of Merit winners in the field this week with Singapore’s Shannon Tan (2025) and Thailand’s Trichat Cheenglab (2023) joined by South Africa’s Casandra Alexander (2026).

Alexander clinched the LET Order of Merit title for this season by triumphing at last week’s Wistron Ladies Open, which was her third LET win of 2026.

The South African star is also the best-ranked player in the field as she sits at number 23 in the Rolex Rankings.

The Aramco China Championship will take place at Mission Hills China from Thursday November 5 until Sunday November 8.
