Next up on the Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule is the fourth Major of the year with The Amundi Evian Championship staged at Evian Resort Golf Club from July 9-12, 2026.
The tournament, which is in its 32nd edition, began as the Evian Masters on the LET before becoming a co-sanctioned event with the LPGA Tour in 2000 and finally, a major championship in 2013.
Australia’s Grace Kim heads into this week as the defending champion having secured a dramatic playoff victory, which included her infamous chip-in, against Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul in 2025.
Kim is one of nine former champions in the field this week, and is also joined by Celine Boutier (2023), Ayaka Furue (2024), Brooke Henderson (2022), Hyo Joo Kim (2014), Jin Young Ko (2019), Lydia Ko (2015), Minjee Lee (2021), and Anna Nordqvist (2017).
There are only three events left of the European qualification period for the 2026 Solheim Cup, which takes place at Bernardus Golf in September, and this week is important with elevated points on offer to the European LET members.
The top five in the LET Order of Merit are competing this week including leader Casandra Alexander, who sits at number 36 in the Rolex Rankings.
Two LET players are making their Major championship debut with Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjäll and England’s Esme Hamilton both teeing it up in a Major for the first time.
Meanwhile, four LET players are making their Evian Championship debuts with Arwefjäll, Australia’s Kelsey Bennett, Hamilton and Canada’s Anna Huang all teeing it up in this major for the first time.
World number one Nelly Korda, who won the 2026 Chevron Championship and U.S. Women’s Open, is in the field this week as is Haeran Ryu, who won the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
This week, for every birdie made during the tournament, Amundi will donate to the Thailand Golf Association to support children in need. Additionally, players and caddies are sked to wear an item of pink clothing during the final round.
