The Ladies European Tour (LET) is delighted to confirm the dates and prize fund for the 2026 edition of La Sella Open.
This year will see the fourth edition of the tournament, which was added to the LET calendar back in 2023, and will have a prize fund of €1 million.
The 2026 La Sella Open will be the 23rd event on the LET calendar and take place from September 17-20 – the week following the Solheim Cup.
La Sella Golf Resort in Dénia, Alicante will once again stage the tournament which has quickly become a favourite amongst the LET membership.
The inaugural edition of La Sella Open was voted Tournament of the Year and for the past two years, the event has won the award for Best Player Services.
Spain’s Nuria Iturrioz won the inaugural edition triumphing in a playoff over Laura Fünfstück in 2023 before Germany’s Helen Briem captured her maiden LET title at the tournament in 2024.
Last year saw Canadian teenager Anna Huang announce herself to the world with a commanding seven-stroke victory in her rookie season.
The prestigious venue, which includes the beautiful Hotel Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa, has hosted many important LET tournaments in the past, such as the European Nations Cup, a team event, from 2008-2011 and, the Rookie Orientation week, from 2015-2018.
