Last week was a special week for Nicole Broch Estrup as she teed it up on the Ladies European Tour (LET) for the final time before having her first child.
The Dane announced her pregnancy over the Christmas break writing on Instagram that she was expecting a son due in May 2025.
Broch Estrup played two events at the start of 2025 competing in the Founders Cup presented by U.S. Virgin Islands on the LPGA Tour and the PIF Saudi Ladies International on the LET.
“This is my last event [before the baby comes], I played last week in Florida and then I’m playing this week and then I’m calling it,” she said. “I will take a break, and we will see what the future holds.
“I can definitely feel there’s a little bit more bodyweight pushing forward in the swing, but I’ve been feeling really good. I haven’t been feeling sick or anything. I’m just really enjoying being out here and seeing everyone again after the [winter] break.”

Competing in two tournaments while six months pregnant could have meant some swing changes for the Dane.
However, it’s only been in the last few weeks where the 31-year-old has felt any difference when playing golf.
She explained: “It’s not until the last couple of weeks that I’ve felt the difference. In my swing, I’ve always been from the inside, and I can see my hands and they definitely want to move outside now.
“I’m staying with Nicole Garcia this week and the other day she said you must feel some bodyweight pulling forward. I’m just trying to keep my weight on the heels.”
Broch Estrup, who is married to husband Kasper – a caddie on the DP World Tour, is excited for the next chapter of their life.
She added: “We just got the keys for a new house on Friday, Kasper is at home moving everything so I will be busy organising that and getting the house ready for the little man to arrive.”
The Danish star finished in a share of 47th place at last week’s PIF Saudi Ladies International after producing rounds of 73-67-75 at Riyadh Golf Club.
After the tournament concluded, she took to Instagram and wrote: “Time to put the clubs away for a bit and get ready for a new chapter to begin soon.
“I’m extremely grateful for all that golf and tour life have given me up until now. There’s no doubt I’m going to miss it, but most of all, I’m going to miss all the amazing people, I’ve gotten to do it all with.
“Only the future will tell when, if and how much I’ll be back, but as of now, it’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you again.”
