The Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf, located in Málaga, has hosted the presentation of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho 2024, the last round of the Ladies European Tour (LET), which will be played from 28th November to 1st December. This prestigious event will close the season with the best golfers in Europe in an event that promises to capture the attention of the golf world in this last week of November.

Víctor Manuel González García, Vice-Minister of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior of the Junta de Andalucía, highlighted the media and tourist impact of the tournament, recalling that last year’s edition reached more than 300 million households and hoping that this year the figures will be even higher, consolidating Andalucía as an international golf reference.
For her part, Ms. María Esperanza González, CEO of Tourism and Planning Costa del Sol, underlined the key role of golf in the province of Málaga as a driving force for the deseasonalisation of tourism and a wealth-generating element for the region.
Jacobo Florido, Councillor for Tourism and Promotion of Malaga City Council, stressed the economic and social importance of golf in the city, which currently has two golf courses and plans to open a third in a clear commitment to the sport. He also highlighted Malaga’s commitment to a sustainable and environmentally friendly model.
On the other hand, Mr. Jaime Salaverri, first vice-president of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, thanked the institutions and the host club for their efforts to guarantee a tournament of the highest level, highlighting the great work carried out in recent weeks to leave the course in perfect condition after the recent inclement weather.
Ángel Gancedo, president of Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf, shared the pride felt by the club for hosting an event of this magnitude, highlighting the joint effort of all the club’s staff and sending a message of solidarity to those affected by the DANA, both in Malaga and in the Valencian community.
From the Ladies European Tour, Mr. João Pinto, tournament director, thanked all the sponsors and institutions involved, noting that this final will be a spectacular end to the season, inviting all golf lovers to follow the competition.
