It is the final event on the Ladies European Tour (LET) calendar before a short summer break while the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is taking place.

Hilversumsche Golf Club is the venue for the second consecutive year of the Dutch Ladies Open which takes place between 19-21 July.

Here are a few things to watch out for this week…

Olympics on the horizon

The field for the Olympic Games in Paris is set and with just a couple of weeks until the women’s golf competition takes place, this is the final chance for LET players to finetune their game in competitive rounds.

Teeing it up this week at Hilversumsche Golf Club are 13 players who will be playing at Le Golf National between 7-10 August and hoping for a chance of Olympic glory.

Van Dam leads Dutch charge

Anne Van Dam headlines the Netherlands stars in the field with 11 Dutch players competing at their home open.

Van Dam is joined by fellow professionals Romy Meekers, Pasqualle Coffa, Nikki Hofstede, Lauren Holmey, Zhen Bhontan, Mayka Hoogeboom and Marit Harryvan, as well as amateurs Rosanne Boere, Anne-Sterre den Dunnen and Fleur Van Beek.

LET winners aplenty

There are many players who have already had success on the Tour vying for another title this week with 35 LET winners, who have a combined 70 LET titles, teeing it up.

Additionally, there are six winners from the 2024 season in attendance with Shannon Tan (Magical Kenya Ladies Open), Manon De Roey (Investec SA Women’s Open), Perrine Delacour (Dormy Open Helsingborg), Amy Taylor (Ladies Italian Open), Marta Martin (Tipsport Czech Ladies Open) and Alice Hewson (VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open) all here.

A chance to be the number one

Heading into the summer break, there is a chance for there to be a new number one at the top of the LET Order of Merit with leader Bronte Law not playing this week.

Belgium’s Manon De Roey has the best chance as she currently sits 98.81 points behind Law, but there are also opportunities for Alice Hewson (5th), Maria Hernandez (6th), Shannon Tan (7th), Nicole Broch Estrup (10th) and Marta Martin (11th) to reach top spot.

Places at AIG Women’s Open up for grabs

It is the final week for LET players to automatically confirm their spot at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open via the Order of Merit.

LET winners from 2024 have already sealed their spot as have the top 15 players from the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol.

However, the top five players – who are not already exempt – from the 2024 LET Order of Merit points list as of Monday 22 July will also receive a place at St Andrews.
