FIELD BREAKDOWN: ARAMCO TEAM SERIES – KOREA

The Ladies European Tour (LET) is in Seoul for the first time ever this week as the circuit heads to New Korea Country Club for the second Aramco Team Series presented by PIF event of 2024.

A field of 108 players from 36 nations will be teeing it up in both the individual and team competitions with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties after the second round.

Five winners from the 2024 season are in attendance with Singapore’s Shannon Tan (Magical Kenya Ladies Open), England’s Bronte Law (Lalla Meryem Cup), Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe (NSW Women’s Open), Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini (Joburg Ladies Open), and Belgium’s Manon De Roey (Investec SA Women’s Open) all teeing up.

Things are now getting interesting in the Order of Merit with 310.15 points separating Law and Tamburlini in first and third place. Following her commanding victory in Cape Town, De Roey is now sandwiched between the pair in second place.

Elsewhere, Solheim Cup star power glistens the field with England’s Charley Hull and America’s Danielle Kang teeing up as invitees. South Korea’s Hyo-Joo Kim is also given an invite as the one-time Major winner looks to put on a show in front of her home fans.

A total of 35 LET winners are in attendance accumulating to 65 Tour wins. 18 rookies are teeing up in Seoul while India’s Diksha Dagar is making her 100th LET start.
