PITCH INTERNATIONAL NAMED EXCLUSIVE MEDIA RIGHTS ADVISOR FOR LET

  • Pitch International appointed on three-year term for global media rights distribution.

The Ladies European Tour (LET) has appointed Pitch International (Pitch) as its exclusive media rights advisor. The collaboration with Pitch will see the renowned sports marketing agency lead the LET’s sales and distribution of global media rights until the end of 2026 and is another key step in LET’s drive for further growth.

Since 2019 the tour has seen tournaments increase by 33 per cent and televised events increase from 11 to 21, with the average purse increasing year on year and record total prize funds of almost €35M being achieved in 2023.

Fiona Harold, Commercial Director of the Ladies European Tour, said: “Following a very competitive request for proposal (RFP) process, we’re delighted to welcome Pitch as our strategic media rights partner. With tournaments in 21 different countries, the LET is a truly international tour.

“The 2024 schedule is looking really strong and we’ll be expanding into a fifth continent along with tournaments in at least three new host countries. That presents a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our global footprint and Pitch have the expertise and network to ensure we maximise growth.

“Off the back of a hugely exciting Solheim Cup in Spain that saw Team Europe retain the trophy, along with record breaking broadcast viewing figures and digital engagement, the LET’s position has never been stronger and we’re really looking forward to embarking on this new chapter with Pitch.”

For Pitch, the LET partnership adds to a list of golf clientele which includes the United States Golf Association (USGA) and Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGAA).
