The third round of the season finale is underway at the challenging Real Club De Golf Guadalmina as the international field bids to make up for lost time, due to a weather delay on Thursday.
Overnight leader Nuria Iturrioz still holds a three-shot advantage at eight-under-par from Race to Costa del Sol champion Emily Kristine Pedersen and Scotland’s Kelsey Macdonald, as she looks to claim a fourth LET title of her career.
Playing 11 holes of her second round this morning, Macdonald will be full of confidence, having birdied the final hole less than an hour ago to make the final group.
Playing in a shot gun start from 12.50pm, the leaders tee off from the first hole with the chasing pack consisting of Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes, Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen and England’s Meghan MacLaren teeing off just five minutes before.
